Emily also works closely with parents/caretakers to support their child. Her primary approach to therapy is based in the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with contributions from her studies of Mindfulness practices and Behavioural Techniques. Emily utilizes play-based techniques, creating a safe space for a young person to express themselves. Emily has office space in both Nepean and Williamstown, ON. She also offers virtual sessions. |

The cost for a 50 minute psychotherapy session is $180.00.
Payment is accepted with an e-transfer following the session. No Debit or Credit machine available.
COVERAGE & EXTENDED HEALTH INSURANCE
Psychotherapy services are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) and are not covered by all extended health care plans. It is up to you to please check with your extended health insurance provider (i.e, Sun Life, Great West Life, etc.) to see if psychotherapy services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist are covered.
Direct billing the insurance company is not an option.
For those without coverage, of note the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has recognized the cost of non-reimbursed services provided by Registered Psychotherapists as a medical expense eligible for a tax credit.
